Yup! We're pregnant!

As some of you have observed by the default icon change - I AM in fact pregnant.

Hubby and I found out in early November and decided to tell everyone at Christmas - We thought that would be the absolute perfect time! :)

I was three months [12 weeks] on Christmas day. The baby is due in early July [possibly late June]. We won't know if it's a boy or girl for about another 6 weeks but we have seen the first ultrasound and all. The baby was jumping around so much they had trouble taking the picture and finding the heartbeat, but it's there and strong. Ultimately we both want a healthy baby but Hubby's preference is a boy and mine is a girl. We just agreed we're gonna keep trying until we have at least one of each ;).

The reason I haven't been around much and I haven't been able to get to stories is simply because morning sickness hit pretty hard - sometimes all day. It seems to be receding now *crosses fingers* though I am still having trouble with gagging alot - especially after I brush my teeth.

We've started shopping for some maternity clothes - figured we might find a few good deals today and we did :). Hoping I won't need them for a couple more months though - not showing yet :).

Anyway, that's about it I guess lol.

We can't have really fooled much of anyone here. We drive an hour to church [since we moved it's an hour away but we love it so much we're still going there :)]. And we've missed every morning for like the last 2 months... [which I hate, but if I'm puking... can't make the drive]

Awwwwwwww, that's great! Congratulations!

Man, pregnant ladies are popping up EVERYWHERE. My sister-in-law's pregnant and due in the end of January, so I'm gonna be an aunt real soon. My cousin who's had alot of health problems in the past also just found out she's pregnant, due in August. She did kinda the same thing that you did, except she waited until Christmas to tell her hubby... I need to find out how that went. lol.

Anyway, congrats. I'll be praying it's a girl! ;)

That is really just so great. I'm so happy for you. I'm a little excited to hear about the sex and baby names and everything for you, haha. I don't know about that deal though, you could end up with like, ten boys or something before you got a girl :)

Boys run in his family and girls run in mine... so no telling. Though I have no brothers and he does have 3 sisters [he has 7 siblings, I only have 2]
