I'm having surgery next week and the insurance co. is being a jerk. I think it's sorted out now. I'm about to sit down and read some fic that's been piling up, but I had a thought, and was wondering...

A lot of people have been complaining that lately fandom seems all about the slash. Is there any interest out there for a community dedicated to reccing only non-slash stories? If so, would anyone be interested in reccing for certain fandoms?

I'm just curious.

There are already a couple comms like that out there, but from what I can tell, they don't really take off unless they're geared towards a particular fandom. And even then, they tend to be really quiet and are viewed as rather controversial. Which really sucks, but there it is.
