Writer's Block: Ewww

What is one food that you refuse to try? Why?

I've tried some weird stuff in my time - escargots... frog's legs..

I won't try anything raw or looking at me...

That's a hard one for me, because I'm such a picky eater. But is there anything I've actually refused to try? I refuse to try sushi, I guess. I won't eat fish, let alone raw fish.

Yeah me neither... and I should probably clarify... I won't try raw meat. Raw veggies is a different matter... I love em!

I love sushi (FYI: "sushi" doesn't mean "raw fish" but "with rice" in Japanese; in fact, you can get cooked fish with sushi. It's sashimi that has raw fish.); it's quite good.

With that said, I'm a very picky eater. I refuse to eat pork as well as liver and onions. BLEH!

I like onions fine... but they usually don't like me much, so I limit how much I eat.

And good to know about sushi. Maybe I'll try it sometime if I find it cooked ;)

If you ever go to a Japanese restaurant, you can always ask the waitress if there are cooked fish in certain sushi platters (For instance, the California roll has cooked crab in it.).
